Nette Leute, schöne Suiten, währschaftes Essen, moderate Preise
Wir fuhren bei fast Sturm dick eingemummt mit den Kutschen übers Watt und schauten schaudernd auf die in Abständen aufgestellten Körbe auf Pfählen für fast ersoffene Touristen, zu denen diese zum Trocknen hochkraxeln und auf den Seenotkreuzer oder Helikopter warten können. Die Fahrt durchs Watt dauerte 1 1/4 Stunden und war für uns Schweizer, Fuhlsbütteler und New Yorker wegen der Weite des Watts ein Erlebnis. Im Nigeghus angekommen, tauten wir erst mal mit einem Eisbrecher auf und genossen die Wärme der Gaststube und die Freundlichkeit des internationalen Personals. Die Suiten empfanden wir als sehr grosszügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Essen war gut - hervorragend die Matjesbrote mit Neuwerker Aquavit und die Bratkartoffeln mit Zwiebeln und Speckstibbeln. Weniger gelungen die Jägerschnitzel, denen man anmerkte, dass die Neuwerker mit Robbenbänken vertrauter sind als als mit Rehen, Peperoni und Rahmsauce. Alles in allem ein wunderbar erholsamen Aufenthalt, die Wirtsleute liehen uns für die Rückreise sogar gewitterfeste Klamotten, die wir allerdings nur für die letzten 10 Minuten brauchten, als die Badegäste wegen Gewitters per Lautsprecher aufs Festland befohlen wurden.
Wonderful place to wind down and unwind. Nice unobtrusive service. Good breakfast, cozy garden. We'll definitely come back for a relaxing weekend. Despite the relatively high price, we would recommend a mudflat wagon ride to everyone, a unique experience!

Super Lage ,ca.100m vom Deich.Gutes Frühstück und sehr gutes Restaurant mit einer schönen Dachterrasse.Schöne Gartenanlage mit ruhigen Plätzen.Sehr schöne Überfahrt mit dem Wattwagen
This hotel is modern, nicely decorated and quiet. We were very satisfied with the food and the service. Unfortunately, smokers are allowed to indulge their addiction undisturbed in the beautiful and wind-protected terrace area; we were filled with smoke at both dinner and lunch. In 2023, smokers will be allowed to be separated into separate areas behind windows - that is now the social consensus.
We stayed at the hotel for four days and are happy to recommend it. We really liked the complete service. We were picked up from the pier along with our luggage and brought back to it at the end of our stay. Our room was nicely decorated and clean, the beds were comfortable. I particularly liked that there was enough storage space, i.e. a wardrobe not only with a clothes rail, but also with a large compartment. There was also a chest of drawers with additional storage space. There was also plenty of storage space and drawers in the fairly large bathroom. The staff were consistently friendly and made you feel welcome. We ate in the hotel's restaurant "Zum Anker". The food was good, the portions were generous, everything was great. We were very satisfied and would like to come back to the beautiful island of Neuwerk.

We spent three nights in the hotel. The rooms are beautifully modern, large and clean. The staff was very friendly and also fulfilled special requests (second blanket). The breakfast was rich.
Der Urlaub hatte ein rundum Glücklich Paket
Die Freundlichkeit aller war besonders. Als Reisende mit Handicap wurden uns nötige „Extrawürste“ ungefragt gebraten.
We were at Neuwerk for 6 days with children and dogs. We felt really comfortable in Nige Hus. Good breakfast with plenty of choice, extremely friendly staff (that really has to be emphasized - you can tell everyone enjoys what they do here!), good menu at Anker (fresh, not just traditional food!), even with vegan options - that's what we had we didn't expect. Nice selection of cakes in the afternoon. Pick up by tractor or transport to the ferry for hotel guests - unexpected and really great! The island is wonderful. We will be back! Our elderly parents in the next room were also very happy. We would have been happy with a kettle and a fridge in the room, but we understand the environmental considerations/the idea behind having both in the hallway. On the terrace you have to put up with the smokers, of which there were surprisingly quite a few - our only downer 😉
Super Urlaub zum Entspannen und Relaxen auf Neuwerk gehabt
Anreise mit dem Wattwagen und Rückreise mit dem Schiff, Gepäcktransfer an den Hafen, leckeres Frühstück sowie Essen im Restaurant, großes und sauberes Zimmer mit Strandkorb auf der Terrasse, Aufenthalt im Wintergarten möglich bei Schietwetter bis das Schiff abfährt.

Erholung pur mit wunderbaren Gastgebern
Eine ausgezeichnete Wahl ist dieses Hotel. Die Zimmer/Suiten ansprechend renoviert und eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind aufmerksam und nett. Das Essen frisch und lecker. Auch der Kuchen ist so wie er sein soll! Dazu gibt es viel Ruhe. Die Anfahrt mit der Wattkutsche spektakulär. Ein absolut herrlicher Ort um runter zu kommen und abzuschalten.
