Leckeres Mittagessen

Wir waren mit dem Schiff nach Neuwerk gefahren und hatten so einen längeren Aufenthalt dort. Zum Mittagessen waren wir im Restaurant „Zum Anker“. Danke des sonnigen Wetters könnten wir super draußen auf der windgeschützten Terrasse sitzen. Die Speisekarte kam prompt und auch die Getränke waren schnell da. Die Karte ist relativ klein, es ist aber für jeden etwas dabei, kalt oder warm, für den kleinen und dem großen Hunger. Wir hatten eine Krabbensuppe, ein Matjesbrot sowie einen Salat mit Pellkartoffeln und Quark. Alles war sehr lecker. Der Service war sehr gut und aufmerksam. Empfehlenswertes Lokal!

We had dinner here; the food was delicious and the prices were comparable to other hotels/restaurants on the island. Friendly service, nice outdoor seating area.

Ein tolles Haus mit gemütlichen Zimmern, sehr leckerem Essen und einer ausgesprochen herzlichen Atmosphäre!

Traumhaft schön

Wunderschöne individuell eingerichtete Zimmer - unser Favorit ist das Krähennest. Sauna, Entspannung im Garten, sowie der sehr freundliche Service und leckeres Essen haben unseren Aufenthalt auf Neuwerk zu einem Highlight werden lassen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wir verbrachten 4 Nächte in der Suite "Knechtsand" über unseren 40. Hochzeitstag. Die Unterkunft, direkt am Deich gelegen, war sehr schön, sauber und gemütlich. Die komplette Anlage toll gepflegt. Das Frühstücks Buffet lecker und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Auch das Essen im Restaurant super gut. Das Personal nett und zuvorkommend. Unbedingt erwähnenswert ist die Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit der Familie Christian Griebel. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Äußerst schöne Anreise aus Sahlenburg mit dem Wattwagen direkt zum Hotel (unbedingt die Uhrzeiten der Gezeiten beachten) - ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis

Wir waren das erste Mal im Nige Hus und hatten das Familienzimmer Nigehörn. Das Zimmer ist perfekt auch mit großem Kind (20) bewohnbar, durch die separaten Schlafkojen hatte jeder seine Privatsphäre. Es war alles sehr sauber und auf dem großen Frühstücksbuffet war für jeden etwas dabei. Abends wurd Im Anker gegessen, die Bratkartoffeln sind ein Traum! Liebe Familie Griebel, wir haben 5 erholsame Tage bei Ihnen verbracht und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

We can't rate the rooms as we only ate there. BUT: The food is truly first-class. Fresh fish, fantastic salads, and unique fried potatoes filled our stomachs faster than is healthy – but with such delicious delicacies, you simply can't eat slowly. A visit to this charming restaurant is a truly special experience, especially thanks to the excellent service! The perfect blend of warm friendliness and sensitivity with classic service isn't always easy to find these days. Thank you for the wonderful time we had in the restaurant!

We spent six days on Neuwerk with our child and dogs. We felt incredibly comfortable at Nige Hus. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection, the staff exceptionally friendly (this really deserves special mention – you can tell everyone there enjoys their work!), and the menu at the Anker restaurant was great (fresh, not just traditional food!), even including vegan options – we hadn't expected that. There was also a lovely selection of cakes in the afternoon. The tractor pick-up and transport to the ferry for hotel guests was unexpected and absolutely fantastic! The island is wonderful. We'll definitely be back! Our elderly parents in the next room were also very happy. A kettle and a refrigerator in the room would have been nice, but we understand the environmental considerations/idea behind having them in the hallway. On the terrace, you have to be okay with the smokers, of whom there were surprisingly quite a few – our only slight disappointment 😉
