Wonderful

We had a great stay at Nige Hus and would love to go again! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and attractive. Breakfast is excellent. The attached restaurant is cozy and perfect for a chilly night on Insel Neuwerk. We sat by the wood stove and enjoyed many hot beverages mit was drin! Theres a tractor service to tow your bags to and from the hotel for you so you can walk there from the ferry unfettered. In rainy weather you can ride in a covered trailer to and from the ferry. Id definitely stay there again.

Sehr Kulant

Wir haben das Wochenende gebucht und konnten nicht nicht rüber wandern, das Hotel hat uns abgeraten wegen der Wetterlage zu kommen,weil es kein zurück gab. Die Familie Griebel hat es für 5 Personen kostenlos storniert,dafür nochmals herzlichen Dank.

Classic German Hotel in the middle of nowhere

We stayed in this hotel for one day. Neuwerk is a very small island, and many people come to visit it only for a few hours, just to make one round. We stayed for one night and were very about our decision. The time when all the tourists are gone and you are almost alone in a small peace of land in the Northern Sea is precious. We were very happy with the hotel. It is most probably old hotel but renovated. Room vas big a comfortable and what is most important new. The food in restaurant was very tasty, especially fish. The hotel was surrounded but very well maintained beautiful garden. I would definitely recommend this hotel for staying if you are planning to visit Neuwerk.

Traumurlaub im Wattenmeer!

Super Service: Buchung der Schiffsüberfahrt, Gepäcktransport vom u. zum Schiffsanleger.nTraumhafte Suite (2 Zi. + Bad) mit Dachterrasse (2 Sonnenliegen, Tisch + Stühle und eigener Strandkorb), weitem Blick über die gesamte Insel und tadellosem Zimmerservice.nUmfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet im lichtdurchfluteten Wintergarten. Sehr gute und reichliche bürgerliche Küche sowie regionale Fischspezialitäten im dazugehörigen urigen Restaurant Zum Anker mit kompetentem Servicepersonal.

Very nice and quiet. Courteous staff. Cozy atmosphere, with fireplace and winter garden. Guests can bring dogs. Outside you can use the sauna or play chess. Excellent food and excellent coffee. (only the onions were always burnt). Homemade jam. Hmmm. . .delicious.

An absolute recommendation every year for a long weekend to just relax. Great hotel, super friendly staff and really delicious food. Anyone looking for peace and quiet in a great atmosphere is in good hands here. An absolute must is at least once on the mudflat hike on foot to Neuwerk and back by mudflat wagon. Of course you can also travel comfortably by ship. It can get crowded on weekends, but if you take it easy, this isn't a problem. Once again - absolute recommendation and if possible 6 stars 🙂👍

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, tolle Unterkunft, gutes Essen, schöne Lage. Ich habe ein entspanntes Kurzurlaub genossen. Besonderen Dank an Frau Griebel, die ermöglicht hat die Rückreise als Kutschfahrt erleben zu dürfen.

My girlfriend, our two dogs, and I spent two nights in the 'Knechtsand' suite. It was a complete, carefree experience from arrival to departure. Everything was fantastic: lovely owners, very friendly staff, and the excellent restaurant "Zum Anker." Nothing is left to be desired here—pure pampering. We'll definitely be back, and for a little longer 😀👍. Thank you all so much for the wonderful time!! Best wishes 🌺

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Alleinreisende
Ich habe von Montag bis Freitag eine wundervolle Zeit auf Neuwerk und im Hotel verbracht.
Es hat alles gepasst.
Da das Schiff am Anreisetag nicht fuhr, wurde ein Tag vorher eine Fahrt mit dem Wattwagen organisiert.
Alle im Team sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Zimmer „Vogelsand „ ist top. Der Ausblick von dort fantastisch und die kleine Sitzecke sehr gemütlich.ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch habe ich die zum Zimmer gehörende Dachterrasse gut nutzen können.
Das Frühstücksbüffet sehr gut und ich hatte einen herrlichen Blick auf den Turm.
Die Fahrt mit dem Trecker zurück zum Schiff auch sehr gut organisiert.
Ich komme gerne wieder. Inzwischen zum 4.Mal im Nige Hus Urlaub gemacht.

Eine Unterkunft mit Herz

Wir lieben Neuwerk! Und außerdem jetzt auch Nige Hus. Wir waren auch schon woanders auf der Insel, aber das könnte nicht mithalten. Alle im Hotel sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, es gibt deutliche Bemühungen um Nachhaltigkeit und das Essen ist lecker. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und sauber, sodass man sich entspannt wohlfühlen kann. Das Beste ist aber wirklich die familiäre Atmosphäre. Jeder, der in Hotel arbeitet, steht einem mit ehrlicher Freundlichkeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und das Engagement für die Gäste ist wirklich toll. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
